Volunteer AssociationVolunteers play a very important role at Northern Ballet Theatre. Our volunteers are men and women of all ages, backgrounds and interests. They have a devotion to the Arts and a desire to have fun and a sense of satisfaction in helping to keep NBT dancing. Our Volunteer Coordinators will work with you to find out what your strengths are, identify what works best for you, and at the same time contribute to our organization.
We have many volunteer opportunities available in the following areas:
Clerical
Volunteers are needed to help answer phones, send out mailings, input data and do some filing.
Crafters
We are looking for creative people to help with props, painting of scenes, designing costumes, make-up artists to help back stage at performances.
Marketing
We are looking for motivated individuals to assist in ways to draw attention to our company and our school. Volunteers are needed to help with advertising, getting corporate & individual sponsors, telemarketing, helping to increase ticket sales for our productions throughout the season. We also need people to distribute flyers & posters.
Youth Ensemble Program
Our YE program is a group of dedicated student's who love to perform, but they need your help. We are looking for individuals with prior experience in Fundraising & Marketing. If you love the feeling of helping a child reach his/her dreams, then you'll love working with our Youth Ensemble group. We have recently performed at the Nashua Country Club for our Gala Event and the Pheasant Lane Mall for the Evening of Giving.
Professionals
Northern Ballet Theatre is looking for professionals to donate their time and experience in these service areas; graphic design, photography, videotaping and advertising in the local papers and other media. We would appreciate anything you or your company can do to help.
